A Busy Beaver Bonus...
The 1933/34 Chicago Century of Progress International Expo lacked the notoriety of the 1893 "Devil in the White City" bash. But it boosted morale during the Depression, attracted 40 million visitors and hosted exhibits from 21 nations. There was a futuristic Art Deco theme, plus the "Sky Ride", incubator infants, Midget City and sexy Sally Rand.
